Philippe Lucidarme received his BS and MS in Electronics and Automation from the University of Lille in 1999 and 2000 respectively. He received his PhD in the field of Robotics from the University of Montpellier in 2003. The same year, the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) funded his postdoctoral fellowship and he spent nine months at the Joint Robotics Laboratory (Tsukuba, Japan).
Since 2004 he is teaching electrical engineering and computer science at the University of Angers. He is researcher at the LARIS (Laboratoire Angevin de Recherche en Ingénierie des Systèmes). His research interests include mobile robotics, multi-agent systems and machine learning.
Philippe Lucidarme is the founder and president of the Robot-Campus association since 2001.
